Star Wars and Baseball

Dear Baby Bird,

When I heard there was a Star Wars night at the Brewers game, I knew you and Brother would love it!
We spent a lot of time walking around and looking for places to take pictures.
 Found the hot dog racer!
 A cool backdrop
 Even cooler, some troopers!
And more storm troopers and clone troopers!
 And  TIE fighter pilot.
We watched some baseball, too, but the team didn't do very well so it was more interesting to walk around and see all the costumes. Your favorite was a fan wearing a Darth Vader mask and a cheesehead.  Funny stuff!

Love,
Mom

Special Visits with Mrs. Angie

Dear Baby Bird,

Today we got to visit Mrs. Angie. You were really excited to see her, we picked a bouquet of beautiful flowers from our yard.

Mrs. Angie brought you a bubble shooter that looks like a dragon, you love it!

And a Nutella snack which was so delicious.

What a wonderful friend she is.

Love,
Mom

Mother's Weekend

Dear Baby Bird,
This weekend we celebrated Mother's Day... all weekend long!

We went to the nursery to get new plants for the garden, and you were a great helper getting everything planted!

My favorite tree blossomed just in time for us to enjoy the beautiful fragrance and play in the petals!

Lots of hard work on this area of the yard! Some of the hosta in there were gifts from Grandma and Grandpa on my first Mother's Day, 8 years ago. They, like you boys, are growing quickly.

After a delicious dinner on the deck, we went for an evening hike and DQ blizzards. While you were waiting for Brother and I to be ready, you did some jumping for Dad.

We found a pretty tree for photos.

I was telling you something about sticks...
...then you told me a secret....
... it must have been funny!

I'm so proud to be called Your Mom.

Love,
Mom

Spring has Sprung

Dear Baby Bird,
No doubt about it, Spring is here!
We spend as much time outside as we can, even if it's a little chilly.

Spring also means Brother's soccer games. It's fun to watch him play, and you enjoy playing your own game on the sidelines or in an open goal if you can find one.

All geared up to play, even with shin guards!
We enjoyed dinner at John's Root Beer. Perfect weather, no bugs, and delicious root beer floats!

Fun with the statues at the library park.

Love,
Mom
