Winter Hang-out
Dear Baby Bird,
During the summer, we love to play outside. During the winter, we spend lots of time in our living room.
You enjoy your bench now that you can sit up.
You love to play with this ball in a big plastic bowl.
And we like to keep warm under blankets in the winter.
Sometimes you just crack up laughing!

Snowy Day for Sledding
Dear Baby Bird,
We got a lot of snow last week, then it was pretty warm out over the weekend. So we decided to go sledding with Grandma and Grandpa. You didn't mind riding in the sled... until the hill got steep and you tipped over.

Likes
Chewing on anything you can fit into your mouth. They usually end up totally soaked in drool!
Getting tickled, kissed, hugged, wrestled. You also love reaching out to anyone near you, or climbing on top of brother and drooling all over him.
Sitting up and playing with toys, like the Penguin, blocks, monkey banana car, or gumball machine.
Eating anything we offer you. Yogurt, avocado, pears, peaches, sweet potato, Mum Mums, Wagon Wheels (you feed yourself these last two, though you haven't quite mastered the smaller pieces yet). You love eating banana in a "net" but it's really a mess and hard to clean, so we don't do that very often
Sleeping! You've just started a new routine of two 2-hour naps, which mom and your sitter are both loving. You are SOOO happy when you wake up from a long nap like that.
Dislikes
Being forced to stay awake from 4-6 pm. You are usually pretty tired and want to go to bed, but then you'd never see Daddy, plus I'm worried it would ruin your great streak of sleeping 6 pm - 6:30 am. For now, bathtime or going outside are the best bets for keeping you awake and entertained.
