Growing up so fast

Dear Baby Bird,

I can't even believe it's already time; you started summer school at your preschool!

You did so great, just walked right in and started playing. You have been so lucky to make friends while at Mrs. Angie's house, and I know you are looking forward to seeing them again soon.

I'm so proud of you growing up and making friends and trying new things.

Splash! Blastoff!

Dear Baby Bird,

What a weekend! We went to celebrate Dad's god-daughter's birthday; you got to play in the sand, splash pad, beach, and playground. You loved it!

 Then we launched rockets; Brother used his iPad to time the flight.

Unfortunately, our last one got stuck in a tree, but we managed to rescue it.

Delicious Adventures

Dear Baby Bird,

This morning we snuck out to get donuts and coffee at a bakery near Mrs. Nancy's house.

 On the way home we saw a sign for strawberries, so we stopped and got some!

Then we met Aunt Karina, Uncle Jake, Grandma and Grandpa for lunch and a really yummy place. You and I both had crepes, boy were they delicious! We'll definitely have to go back!

Sheboygan Visit

Dear Baby Bird,

We took a trip to Sheboygan to visit Mrs. Nancy (your godmother) and her family in their new house. You especially loved her long flat driveway and sidewalks, perfect for your bike!

 

We took a walk with Baby Andrew in the morning, I think you both enjoyed your wheels.

 

Then a trip to Bookworm Gardens, which was SOOO cool!

You always love when you can find a way to make music.

Summer Vacation

Dear Baby Bird,

While Dad and Brother are in Norway, we are doing lots of fun things together!

We visited your "cousin" Evan. You two had a lot of fun together, it was a little bit like Monkey See Monkey Do.

 Evan is going to be a big brother soon!

 We stopped at IKEA and bought new things for your bedroom, it's a surprise for Brother.

 We found a camera for you to use, and you took a LOT of close up photos!

 Lots of fun at the pool!

Dear Baby Bird,

Today we sent Dad and Brother on the adventure of a lifetime.
 We snuck in as many hugs and kisses as we could before they left.

Then we left them at the airport and headed off for our own little adventures.

Last Day of School

Dear Baby Bird,

Today was Brother's last day of school.

 
After the bus left, we went to Sky Zone, where you loved jumping around and shooting hoops!

 

 

Dad came home early from work and you brought Star Wars guy out to play.

We finished the day with a cook-out at the neighbor's house.

Such a fun and busy day!

Baby Birds

Dear Baby Bird,

Robins decided to make a nest on the lamp outside our front door. Tonight it looked like they were going to leave the nest, so we settled in and watched them stand and practice flapping their wings.

They didn't fly out while we were there, but in the morning, they were gone!
