New Faces

Dear Baby Bird,

Tomorrow is a big day for us, I will be going back to work.  We've had the past 7 months together, and they've been wonderful.  I am still only going to work three days a week, so we will have two days alone together and our weekends as a family together.

While I am at work, you will spend time with Grandma and Miss Angie.  Miss Angie is a new face to you, but already you love her and smile, knowing she will provide you cuddles and kisses and love. And of course, food!

Speaking of new faces, you've learned to make some new faces lately. You especially love blowing raspberries.

 Brother calls it "spitting" but I like to think you are practicing to be a someday trumpet player.

Sleep tight (you always do!) for tomorrow's excitement!

Baby Bird & Baby Bud

Dear Baby Bird,

You have such a wonderful smile, and are growing a new mop top.

We took some pictures on the couch today.  Mommy provided the adorable matching outfits.  Daddy provided the shutterfinger.

We compared your picture to your brother's picture at the same age. Baby Bud has an uncanny resemblance to you.  Of course, you have straight toes, chubbier thighs, and different eyes.  So we can always tell your photos apart.  Well, that, and they are date stamped.

Two-fer Toofers

Dear Baby Bird,

Likes
Food! You now have cereal and fruit in the morning, and cereal and a vegetable at night. So far you've had prunes, bananas, apples, green beans, peas and squash. You love them all and I can't feed you fast enough!
Your new tooth. It broke through yesterday, on the bottom right. You have sure been drooling a lot lately, we knew it was coming soon.
Sitting up, playing with toys, swinging your arms like you are using a hammer. We've started to call you "Bam-Bam" when you do this.

Dislikes
Seeing mom make your bottle and walk to the other room to get a burp rag. You really let me know you are not happy about that!
Falling forward when you are sitting and landing on your belly. You get frustrated quickly.

Dear Baby Bird,

I like to read your Baby bible book every day.
Even though I read a lot it doesn't mean its too much.
Its just means that I like to read so much.
