Big Fans
Dear Baby Bird,
This week we had special visitors; Brother's Paran Mike and his son Brenden came to visit.
Even though they are Cubs fans, we love them very much and had a lot of fun with them.
You got a new Brewer's hat and love to wear it!
The weather got nice so we spent time outside.
You're already practicing with the bat!
Although you didn't come along to the game this time, it won't be long before you're cheering for the Brewers with us at Miller Park!

First Family Bike Ride of the Year
Dear Baby Bird,
Since it was such nice weather, we decided to pull out our bikes and take a bike ride.
We stopped by the marsh to look and listen for birds and frogs.
We played at the playground, ate sandwiches, and watched a family fly kites.
It was the perfect day together!

Easter Day visit to the Domes
Dear Baby Bird,
After church we visited the Domes. We had a great time walking around looking at the beautiful flowers.
We didn't stay too long because it was one of the first nice days outside, so we decided to spend the rest of the day enjoying the great weather!

Easter Morning
Dear Baby Bird,
Happy Easter! We woke up this morning to find that the Easter Bunny had stopped by.
You and brother had a great time looking for eggs in the house
And then you got to see what was in your Easter basket!
You were especially excited about the "Gabba Ga," which is your way of saying Candy.
After we got dressed, you noticed some more eggs hidden outside.

... and the hunt began!
Brother was excited to find this egg by Dad's car. But don't worry, he didn't see the orange one in the tire, and left it for you to find!
You mostly liked the bunny grahams inside the eggs, but also thought finding them was pretty fun.
Here's a video Dad took of you a few days ago, once you realized there was Gabba Ga on the buffet. When you see something you want, you definitely go for it! Hopefully we can teach you to be a little more careful in the process, however.

Daddy Day

Today was a Daddy day. We headed downtown to the Betty Brinn Museum for some dancing...

Cousin Birthday Visit
Dear Baby Bird,
Today we went to visit your cousins to celebrate Brooklyn's birthday and have an early Easter lunch.
Before lunch even started, you found the cupcakes and were excited to try them!
We went to watch Trevor play soccer. Nana bought you this cute monkey chair, it will be great for going to Brother's games in a few weeks.
And you had fun playing with Brooklyn, chasing bubbles and pushing around your stroller.
It was a beautiful sunny day, in the 70s, and it made us all excited for warm weather and enjoying the Spring and Summer together.

Iowa Road Trip
Dear Baby Bird,
We took a road trip this weekend to visit Aunt Karina and Uncle Jake in Iowa. You were great in the car, and especially enjoyed playing with all the new toys from Miss Sheri.
We're just a few weeks away from Easter, so you got to open your Easter Basket from Karina and Jake. You were excited about the candy and enjoyed playing with Duplo cars.
Brother loved his Star Wars LEGO kits!
We were lucky to have nice weather, so we spent as much time outside as we could.
Uncle Jake threw airplanes with you. You thought it was funny when one landed on the roof.
Then he drove his RC car for you to chase. You really enjoyed that... until you got frustrated.
We did spend time inside reading books. At first you felt a little shy, but eventually you were happy to read with anyone who would sit with you.
It was a very fun weekend, and even with a long car ride home, you managed to stay in good spirits.
