Wave!

Dear Baby Bird,

Today we went to the Milwaukee Wave soccer game with Brother and his friend, and with your godmother Nancy and Adam. 

You loved the crowd, the noise, the food, the music, and looking around at everything there was to see and watch.

You especially liked to find the mascot. He was all over the arena! Then he came and sat in an empty seat in our row! You were very excited and waved and said "hi" but you didn't want to get TOO close to him.

 Thanks to an unexpected free upgrade in tickets, we were sitting very close to the field, and to the announcer and cameramen. They told us all to flex our muscles, and suddenly, you and I were on the jumbotron "Flexcam." Luckily, Dad had the camera ready and got a picture for us.

The game was very exciting (our team won 30-4), and you loved every minute of it! Well, except near the end when you didn't want to stay at your seat, but walking around exploring was fun, too.

Valentine's Day

Dear Baby Bird,

Happy Valentine's Day!  We had a fun day together, and tonight we got to open presents and have a fun family dinner.

You were very excited about your new animals!

We're working on the basement, and so we moved a lot of things around. In your costume bin you found a small backpack and wanted help putting it on. I asked if you are going to school like brother, and you smiled, and went to put on his hat. Guess you are looking forward to going to school someday!

Sweet Weekend Treats

Dear Baby Bird,

This weekend, we celebrated the start of the Winter Olympics in Sochi.  I didn't have a chance to learn how to make anything Russian, so we had Chinese food instead, and brownies for dessert.

 

Today we visited Nana's house, and your Godfather was there. You loved playing hide and seek behind the doors, because you can open and close the doorknobs at Nana's house!

Gymnastics

Dear Baby Bird,

On Tuesday nights we go to they gym, and you get to take a gymnastics class. This week, Daddy came along with us!

You did stretching....

 Free play..

 Balance beam....

 And bars...
